Construction Commences in Ravenna at Miromar Lakes

MIROMAR LAKES, FL. - Gulfshore Homes has begun construction on the first building in Ravenna at Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club. Ravenna is a neighborhood of luxury waterfront condominiums on Lake Como. Surrounded by water, this Venetian-inspired enclave will feature cobblestone streets, lush landscaping and only 60 residences in an island setting. Each home will enjoy expansive panoramic views of Miromar's Lake Como and Lake Maggiore, encompassing over 700 acres of contiguous aquamarine freshwater lakes.
Current construction activity includes completion of a seawall. This will be followed by placement of pilings to support the portion of the building that cantilevers over water and will provide covered space for a Boat House. The next step will be installation of land pilings. The first building is anticipated to be completed in the first quarter of 2009 and will include three furnished models. Upon completion, there will be ten buildings in Ravenna, each having three residential living levels over private parking garages at ground level. Individual residences will range in size from 2,747 air-conditioned square feet for first floor homes to 3,692 air-conditioned square feet for third floor units. Each residence, including those on the first level, will have a two-car garage, a private elevator and an easily accessible covered Boat House, which will accommodate boats up to 23 feet long.
Each of the three available floor plan designs includes three bedrooms and three-and-one-half baths, a great room, dining room, library and covered lanai. Interior features crown molding throughout the home and raised panel maple cabinetry in the kitchen and baths. Kitchens feature granite countertops, a center island, and stainless steel appliances by Viking, including a refrigerator, gas cooktop, microwave and wall oven. A full size washer and dryer in the laundry room are by Asko. Wood case windows throughout are by Andersen.
