Over 1,000 Guests Attend Miromar Lakes Beach Clubhouse Opening

MIROMAR LAKES, FL. - The last of three buildings in a sprawling waterfront Beach Club complex has recently opened at Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club. Over 1,000 residents and guests were in attendance at an invitation-only Grand Opening event. Each received a floor plan of the new 26,000 square foot Beach Clubhouse with descriptions of the exquisite furnishings, architectural details and numerous pieces of original art on display. Hors d'oeuvres, wine and champagne were served and guests dined on a seafood buffet and carving stations in the outdoor Bar Lounge area while watching a performance by the Southern Extreme Water Ski Team on Lake Como.
Margaret Antonier Miller, President and CEO of Miromar Development, developer of Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club greeted guests along with several other Miromar team members. Stated Antonier Miller: "The Beach Clubhouse was a collaborative effort with many talented people involved. It turned out exactly as I had envisioned it would, an elegant and welcoming environment for our residents and their guests." Antonier Miller went on to note: "Decorating the Beach Clubhouse was a particularly convenient and rewarding process because most of the quality resources I would normally look for around the world were found right here at the International Design Center." Located directly on the water's edge, the new Beach Clubhouse offers gourmet evening dining indoors or under the stars. It is perfect for intimate dining or for weddings and other special events with seating for 250 people. There is also an indoor/outdoor lounge with wine room, a library with a fireplace, billiard room, card room, 50-seat theater and business center. A private "beachside" dining room provides seating for small gatherings around a fireplace and has French doors that open up to the beach and Lake Como.
As the centerpiece of the community, the 39,206 square foot Beach Club's other two buildings include the award-winning Blue Water Beach Grill featuring contemporary fare in an open-air setting with panoramic lake and beach views, and the European-style Spa encompassing a full-service beauty salon and a state-of-the-art Fitness Center with a Pilates Studio and Aerobics Room.
