Miromar Lakes Hosts Hot Nights, Cool Jazz

MIROMAR LAKES, Fla. - Now, there's a cool new way to enjoy Southwest Florida's summer nights. Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club presents "Hot Nights, Cool Jazz" at the Blue Water Beach Grill.
The first of two summertime jazz performances, this event from 7-10pm on July 21 offers a gourmet prix fixe dinner menu with a side of first-rate entertainment. Musical selections will include the various genres - blues, ballads, old standards, swing-era rhythms, Latin jazz, salsa, rhythm and blues - that are collectively referred to as jazz.
In keeping with the "Hot Nights, Cool Jazz" theme, the Blue Water Beach Grill will feature specials on cocktails and cigars.
Area jazz artists Woody Brubaker, Jim Blakemore Sr., Rick Howard and Kathryn Taubert will exhibit vocal and musical talents on piano, saxophone, flute, drums, guitar and percussion.
Southwest Floridians are invited to cool down with a cocktail, kick back, relax and take in the sounds of smooth jazz at Miromar Lakes for $45 per person, including dinner. Space is limited. Call (239) 489-CLUB for reservations.
